OutFitd · The Massive Works Company LLC · Last updated: August 7, 2026
OutFitd helps you build a virtual wardrobe and see yourself styled in clothing you love. Because the app works with your photos and your personal style, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
This Privacy Policy applies to the OutFitd mobile application and the website at getoutfitd.com (together, the “Service”), operated by The Massive Works Company LLC (“OutFitd,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
Information you provide
Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and authentication credentials, which are handled through our authentication provider.
Photos of you. To generate try-on images, you upload one or more photos of yourself. These photos may show your face and likeness. We use them only to create images of you wearing saved garments and to power related features — we do not use them for facial recognition to identify you, and we do not sell them.
Wardrobe and style content. Items you save (including product links you share, photos you take of clothing, product names and descriptions), items you mark as owned, and the preferences you provide during onboarding (such as aesthetics, brands, budget, fit, and color).
Communications. If you contact us or send feedback, we collect the information you choose to share.
Information created by the Service
AI-generated images. The Service generates and stores images of you wearing saved items, as well as related lifestyle scenes. These images are created from the photos and items you provide.
Style profile. We infer a taste profile and personalized suggestions from the items you save and the preferences you set.
Information collected automatically
Usage and device data. Through our analytics provider we collect events about how you use the app (screens viewed, features used, actions taken), along with basic device and app information such as device type, operating system version, and app version.
Push notification tokens. If you enable notifications, we store a token so we can send them.
How We Use Your Information
To provide core features — building your wardrobe, generating try-on and scene images, and cataloging items you own.
To personalize your experience, including style suggestions and discovery based on your taste profile.
To operate, maintain, debug, and improve the Service.
To communicate with you about the Service, including notifications you have enabled and responses to your requests.
To protect the Service and our users, and to comply with legal obligations.
AI Image Generation and Third-Party Processing
Generating your try-on and scene images requires sending your photo and item information to specialized third-party AI providers that perform the image generation and analysis on our behalf. Similarly, saving an item from a link involves retrieving and processing that page's public content, and analyzing item photos to classify them. These providers process your information only to perform these functions for us and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
The categories of service providers we rely on include: cloud hosting, database, storage, and authentication; AI image generation and editing; AI vision and language processing for item recognition and style synthesis; web content retrieval for saved links; product analytics; and push notification delivery. We may add or change providers over time as the Service evolves.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only in these limited circumstances:
Service providers (subprocessors) who perform functions on our behalf, as described above, under obligations to protect your information.
At your direction — for example, when you choose to share an image or look you created.
Legal and safety — when we believe disclosure is required by law, or is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of OutFitd, our users, or others.
Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
Data Retention
We retain your account information, uploaded photos, saved items, and generated images for as long as your account is active, so your wardrobe and looks remain available to you. When you delete your account, we delete your personal information and associated stored files, except where we are required to retain certain records to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes. Aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you may be retained.
Your Choices and Rights
Access and update. You can view and change your profile, photos, and saved items in the app.
Delete your photo. You can remove or replace your profile photo at any time in the app.
Delete your account. You can permanently delete your account and associated data from within the app's settings. This removes your personal information and stored files as described under Data Retention.
Notifications. You can turn push notifications on or off in your device settings.
Additional rights. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
Data Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls on stored data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for users 13 years of age and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the email below. Users between 13 and the age of majority in their jurisdiction should review this policy with a parent or guardian.
International Users
We are based in the United States and process and store information in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries whose data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
